In my October blog, I want to highlight a couple of my favorite places to shop for fall trends. I also may add both owned by female entrepreneurs, girl power!!!
Hilton Head has been a second home to me for over half of my life, so it would only be fitting (pun intended) for one of my favorite clothing boutiques, to be on the island, my happy place.
Coastal Bliss, located in Shelter Cove in Hilton Head, owned by Blake Schmidt, offers a great selection of fall trends to get your closet ready for the fall season.
What most impresses me about Blake, besides her great eye for style, her relationships and appreciation she has for her customers. Growing up as a grocers daughter and working in the industry myself for over 30 years, one thing I have learned, customer service will not only get you customers , it will keep customers, and you develop some great relationships along the way.
Blake, at Coastal Bliss, loves dressing her customers for fall. “We love when the seasons change and we are able to press the reset button with our wardrobe. Whether its a great jacket to layer or or the perfect boot! We are also seeing fun with corduroy.”

As an avid pickleball player (the fastest growing sport in America), I had to get these cute pickleball earrings. My pickleball friends have been known to get them from me as gifts!
